Tell us about your store or migration. We reply with a recommended approach, scope and estimate.
Many agencies can set up a Shopify store — not all can engineer one. We combine Shopify expertise with the integration and custom-development capability of a full software company, so the store works with the systems your business already runs.
Proven Experience
Multiple successful Shopify projects across fashion, beauty, electronics, and more.
Results-Driven Approach
Every decision is made to increase conversions, sales, and customer retention.
End-to-End Service
From initial build to integrations and post-launch support, everything is handled by one in-house team.
Transparent Process
Clear timelines, no hidden costs, and regular updates at every stage.
Long-Term Partnership
We stay with you beyond launch, helping you adapt and scale as your business grows.
Custom Shopify Design
Visually strong, user-friendly Shopify stores that reflect your brand identity and provide a smooth shopping experience for customers.
The full range of Shopify engineering — from a new store to deep customisation of one that has been trading for years.
Shopify Store Development
Complete store builds: information architecture, theme, catalogue setup, payments, shipping, taxes and tracking — configured for how your business actually sells, and tested before a single ad is pointed at it.
Theme Development & Customisation
Fully custom themes built to your brand and conversion goals, or deep customisation of an existing theme where that is the more economical route — recommended with reasons, not by default.
App Integration & Custom Functionality
Well-chosen apps configured properly — and custom features built against Shopify's APIs where no app fits: bespoke product logic, custom discounting, operational tooling for your team.
ERP, CRM & API Integration
Shopify connected to SAP, Tally, Salesforce, HubSpot and other back-office systems through Shopify's APIs, connector apps or custom middleware — orders, stock and customers synced automatically.
Migration to Shopify
Replatforming from WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, custom platforms or an older Shopify setup — products, customers, orders and search rankings moved intact, with trading uninterrupted.
Speed & Core Web Vitals
Theme code, app bloat and image delivery optimised, measured before and after with the same tools Google uses — because slow stores lose shoppers before the first product renders.
UX & Conversion Improvements
The buying journey reviewed against real drop-off data — navigation, product pages and checkout simplified so fewer visitors leave with a full cart.
AI Features for Shopify
Recommendations, smarter search, shopping assistants and support automation added where they change a number that matters — scoped like any other feature, with acceptance criteria.
Maintenance & Support
A defined support period after launch, team training included, then ongoing maintenance under an agreed response time — updates, fixes and further development as the store grows.
This is not basic store setup. These are the capabilities that matter once a store is past its first hundred orders — and the ones we build for.
Large Catalogues
Thousands of SKUs with variants, structured collections, metafields and filtering that keeps big ranges shoppable instead of overwhelming.
International Selling
Multi-currency and multi-language storefronts with market-specific pricing, duties and payment methods for selling beyond your home market.
Advanced Shipping & Tax
Rate rules by weight, zone and product type, courier integrations, and tax logic that calculates correctly at checkout across markets.
Subscriptions & Repeat Purchase
Subscription models, loyalty mechanics and reorder flows for products bought again and again — where the economics of a store are actually won.
Automation
Order routing, tagging, fraud checks, notifications and back-office workflows automated — so order volume can grow without headcount growing with it.
Integrations at Scale
ERP, CRM, warehouse and marketing systems kept in sync as volume grows — the difference between a store and a commerce operation.
A migration succeeds when customers and Google barely notice it happened. Data, URLs and rankings move with the store — and the old store keeps trading until the new one is verified.
From WooCommerce, Magento or Wix
The platforms we migrate from most often — typically because maintenance burden, hosting complexity or plugin sprawl has outgrown the team's appetite for it.
From Custom & Older Shopify Setups
Custom-built stores whose developers have moved on, and ageing Shopify implementations rebuilt on a current theme architecture without losing what already works.
Complete Data Migration
Products, variants, customers, order history and content moved and verified against the source — not sampled and assumed.
SEO & Rankings Preserved
URL redirects mapped page by page, metadata carried over, and the switchover sequenced so accumulated search visibility survives the move.
AI belongs in a store where it changes a number that matters — conversion, support load, repeat purchase. These are the AI capabilities we add to Shopify, scoped like any other feature.
Product Recommendations
Behaviour-based recommendations and personalised merchandising — the right products surfaced to the right shopper, on-site and in email.
Smarter Search
Search that handles natural phrasing, synonyms and typos, so shoppers land on products instead of empty results pages.
Shopping Assistants
Conversational assistants on the store or WhatsApp that answer product questions and guide selection — with handover to your team built in.
Support Automation
Order status, returns and FAQ queries answered automatically from your own policies and order data, cutting ticket volume.
Product Content at Scale
AI-assisted product descriptions and content drafted from your catalogue data and reviewed by humans — consistent copy across thousands of SKUs.
Personalisation & Insight
Segmentation, intelligent upsell and cross-sell, and demand insight from your own sales data — surfaced where your team already works.
A store that stands alone creates manual work. Integrations are scoped during discovery — what data moves, in which direction, how often — and tested with real flows before launch.
ERP & Accounting
SAP, Tally and mainstream ERP or accounting platforms — orders, stock, prices and invoices synced through Shopify's APIs, connector apps or custom middleware.
CRM & Marketing
Salesforce, HubSpot and marketing platforms — customers, orders and events flowing into the tools your sales and marketing teams already use.
Payments
Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal and regional gateways configured with correct failure handling, refunds and reconciliation.
Shipping & Inventory
Courier integrations for rates, labels and tracking, and inventory kept in sync with your warehouse or ERP so the site never sells stock that isn't there.
WhatsApp, Email & SMS
Order confirmations, shipping updates and abandoned-cart recovery across the channels your customers actually read.
Analytics & Third-Party APIs
Google Analytics and ad conversion tracking wired correctly, plus any documented third-party API your operation depends on.
A clear step-by-step process — with integrations treated as their own stage, because that's where store projects usually go wrong.
Discover
Your business, catalogue, customers and existing systems understood before anything is built.
Design
Wireframes, theme direction and store structure aligned with your brand and conversion goals.
Develop
Theme build, catalogue setup, payments, shipping and any required migration.
Integrate
ERP, CRM, shipping, messaging and analytics connected and tested with real data flows.
Test & Launch
Performance, mobile and checkout tested end to end; go-live sequenced so trading never stops.
Support
Team training, a defined support period, then maintenance under agreed response times.
If your project looks like one of these, we've done it before.
Shopify projects mix three different kinds of ownership, and agencies are not always clear about which is which. This is where the line sits, stated before the work starts.
The store account is yours
The Shopify account is opened in your business name with you as the account owner, and we work in it as staff or a collaborator with access you grant and can revoke. Billing is between you and Shopify. Nothing about the store depends on our continued involvement.
Theme and custom code
Theme customisations, custom sections and blocks, Liquid templates, and any custom app or script written for your store belong to you. The theme is delivered as a downloadable file and, where you want it, in a repository of your own. There is no runtime licence payable to Mindrops.
Content and assets
Product data, images, copy, customer records and order history are yours and exportable from Shopify at any time. Design source files for work produced in the engagement are handed over on approval. Stock photography and licensed fonts are the exception, and their licence terms are stated in the proposal.
Shopify itself is licensed, not owned
Shopify is a hosted platform: you subscribe to it, you do not own it, and the storefront runs on Shopify’s infrastructure under Shopify’s terms. That is the trade for not maintaining servers. If you need to own the whole stack, a custom build is the honest answer — see ecommerce development.
Paid third-party apps
Subscription apps — reviews, subscriptions, bundles, advanced search, loyalty — are licensed monthly by their vendors, not owned. They are installed under your account so the billing and the data relationship are yours, and their recurring cost is listed in the proposal rather than appearing on a later invoice. Uninstalling one usually removes its functionality and can remove its data with it.
What moves if you leave
Products, customers, orders and content export in standard formats; the theme travels as a file; custom code travels with its repository. What cannot travel is anything a third-party app holds inside its own service — which is why app choice is treated as an architectural decision and the exit path is checked before an app is adopted.

Cost follows scope. A store on a customised existing theme sits at one end of the range; a fully custom theme with app integrations, ERP connections or a migration sits at the other. Mindrops quotes after a short requirements discussion — itemised, so you can see what the theme, the integrations and the migration each cost. Shopify's own subscription and app fees are separate and are listed transparently in the proposal.
Most stores are completed within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on scope. A fully custom theme, a large-catalogue migration or ERP integration extends that — the timeline is fixed against the written requirement, phase by phase, so you know what lands when.
Yes — both fully custom themes built to your brand and conversion goals, and deep customisation of existing themes where that is the more economical route. The recommendation between the two comes with reasons and a cost comparison, not a default answer.
Yes. Migrations run from WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, custom ecommerce platforms and older Shopify implementations. Products, variants, customers and order history are moved, URL redirects are mapped so search rankings are preserved, and the existing store keeps trading until the new one has been verified.
Yes. Shopify connects to ERP, CRM and accounting platforms — including SAP, Tally, Salesforce and HubSpot — through Shopify's APIs, existing connector apps or custom middleware. Orders, stock, prices and customer records sync automatically, with the data flows agreed during discovery.
Yes. Typical additions are product recommendations and personalisation, smarter search, shopping assistants on the store or WhatsApp, customer-support automation and AI-assisted product content. Each feature is scoped against a measurable outcome — conversion, support load or repeat purchase — and Mindrops has published AI ecommerce case studies showing this class of work.
Yes. Existing-store work starts with an audit — performance, UX, checkout flow, app usage and tracking — and produces a prioritised list of fixes with expected impact. Common outcomes are faster pages, a cleaner checkout, fewer redundant apps and correctly wired analytics.
Yes. Speed work covers theme code, app bloat, image delivery and Core Web Vitals, measured before and after with the same tools Google uses. No guaranteed scores are promised — the before/after measurements are the deliverable.
Yes — and equally important, apps are chosen deliberately. Where a well-maintained app solves the requirement, it is configured and integrated; where app sprawl is hurting performance or costs, apps are consolidated or replaced with custom functionality built against Shopify's APIs.
Yes, Shopify subscription fees are paid to Shopify directly and are separate from development. The right plan depends on your catalogue, markets and feature needs — the recommendation is part of the proposal, with the recurring costs listed upfront.
Yes. A defined support period follows launch, and your team is trained to manage products, orders and content day to day. After that, maintenance runs as a separate agreement with an agreed response time — covering fixes, theme and app updates, and further development as the store grows.
Share your requirements and get a recommended implementation approach, a clear scope and an estimate — whether it's a new store, a migration or an upgrade to one that's already trading.
