A website and member platform for the Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Mindrops built and manages the website of the Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BICC&I). Beyond the public site, it runs the Chamber’s membership management, its events list, a Mailchimp integration for the newsletter and online payments through a payment gateway. Mindrops also looks after the server and the site’s security.

BICC&I is a business association, founded in 1954 and based in Kortrijk, that promotes commercial, industrial, scientific and financial cooperation between Belgium and India. It works through meetings, seminars, delegations and business trips, and keeps its members informed through its website and newsletter. Mindrops built the Chamber’s website on WordPress and manages it end to end, from membership and events to hosting and security.
The challenge
A chamber of commerce runs on its members and its events. The website is where companies join, where events are announced and where the Chamber’s news reaches its network.
BICC&I needed more than a brochure site. Members had to be managed online, events had to be published and kept current, newsletter contacts had to stay in step with Mailchimp, and payments had to be taken online. A small Chamber team also needed someone to keep the server, the software and the site’s security in order, so they could focus on members rather than on hosting.
The solution
Mindrops built one WordPress website that carries the Chamber’s public presence and its member operations, and keeps running it as a managed service.
Website & custom theme
A bespoke WordPress theme in BICC&I’s blue and yellow, with pages for the Chamber, its news, its sponsors and partners, all edited by the Chamber’s team.
Membership management
Member records and sign-ups are managed on the website, so the Chamber keeps its membership in one place instead of in spreadsheets and email.
Event list management
Seminars, presentations, delegations and business trips are published as events with dates and details, and shown on the homepage and the events page.
Mailchimp integration
The website is connected to Mailchimp, so the Chamber’s contacts flow into its newsletter audience without manual exports.
Payment gateway
An integrated payment gateway lets the Chamber take payments online, directly from the website.
Server management & security
Mindrops manages the server, keeps WordPress and its plugins up to date and hardens the site, which is served through Cloudflare.
