History-of-Posting systemHOPBuilt, deployed and maintained end to end

Government · GST

Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) — HOP System

A History-of-Posting (HOP) system for employee posting history and establishment management, built and deployed by Mindrops.

Built, deployed and still maintained by Mindrops as the zone’s single source of truth for posting history.

Managed cloud and DevOps services

Mindrops architects, migrates and operates workloads on AWS, Azure and GCP, and runs the DevOps practice around them — infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, security and FinOps. One engineering team covers the cloud estate from design and migration to day-to-day operation, reliability engineering and cost control.

Cloud architecture

Well-architected, resilient designs on AWS, Azure or GCP — landing zones, networking and multi-region where the workload needs it.

Migration & re-platforming

Rehost, re-platform or refactor workloads in planned waves, with testing and rollback so live services stay up.

Infrastructure as code

Every environment defined in Terraform and promoted through CI/CD — reproducible, reviewable and free of snowflake servers.

Containers & serverless

Docker, Kubernetes or serverless chosen per workload, so you run only the operational complexity the system actually needs.

Cloud security & posture

Hardened accounts, identity and least-privilege access, encryption and posture checks across your cloud — see cybersecurity.

Day-2 operations

Monitoring, patching, backups and disaster-recovery drills, run under an agreed SLA so the in-house team doesn’t carry the pager.

Why Mindrops for managed cloud

Years of platform operations
Mindrops built and maintained Activate by Bloglovin’ for 4+ years — a platform used by 130k+ influencers — so the team has run a production platform over the long term.
Live government systems
The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) HOP system and the India Post grievance platform are public-sector systems Mindrops built and continues to support.
Infrastructure code in your repositories
Terraform modules, pipelines and runbooks live in your repositories, so every change is reviewable and the estate can be rebuilt — or handed to another team — without reverse-engineering.
Cost and reliability in one team
Architecture, SRE and FinOps sit with the same engineers, so a saving never quietly costs uptime and a reliability fix never quietly doubles the bill.

Recruitment site maintenance

An annual maintenance contract to stabilise an aviation recruitment website and fix its online application workflow, which has to hold up during active hiring drives.

From the client’s review

“Most aviation candidates apply through phones, and the fixes to the application flow reflected a practical understanding of that, not just surface-level design changes.”

How we deliver managed cloud

  1. 01 — Assess

    Cloud and workload assessment

Map workloads, dependencies, security posture and current spend, then agree the target architecture, priorities and a scoped estimate.

  2. 02 — Foundation

    Landing zone and pipelines

Build accounts, networking, identity, Terraform modules and CI/CD first, so every workload lands on the same governed base.

  3. 03 — Migrate

    Migration in waves

Move workloads in planned waves with testing, cut-over plans and rollback, starting with lower-risk systems to prove the path.

  4. 04 — Operate

    Operations under SLA

Monitoring, patching, backups, incident response and cost reviews continue under an agreed SLA, with regular reporting on reliability and spend.

Frequently asked questions

What do managed cloud and DevOps services include?
They cover the architecture, migration, day-to-day operation, security and cost management of cloud infrastructure, plus the DevOps practices — infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and observability — that keep it easy to change. Mindrops delivers them across AWS, Azure and GCP.
How do I choose between SRE, platform engineering, FinOps and managed IT?
Start from the problem. Choose DevOps & SRE when outages and slow releases hurt, platform engineering when many teams rebuild the same pipelines, FinOps when the bill grows faster than usage, and managed IT services when applications need ongoing support. Most clients combine two or more, and the assessment recommends the mix.
What does a typical managed cloud scope include?
A typical scope covers an assessment, target architecture, landing zone and infrastructure-as-code, migration of agreed workloads, CI/CD, monitoring and backups, and an operations SLA. Security hardening and cost optimisation are either included or scoped as separate workstreams, depending on what the assessment finds.
How is a managed cloud engagement priced?
Pricing is set from the agreed scope. A short assessment produces a scoped estimate; build and migration work then runs as fixed scope or time & materials, and ongoing operations as a managed-service agreement or dedicated team. See engagement models.
How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on the number of workloads, their dependencies and how much re-platforming each needs, so timelines are agreed during the assessment. Migration runs in waves with testing and rollback, so live services stay up and value arrives with the first wave. See legacy modernization.
What support continues after migration?
Mindrops keeps operating the estate under an agreed SLA — monitoring, patching, backups, incident response and cost reviews, with 24/7 cover where the SLA calls for it — and keeps shipping improvements. Application-level maintenance is available through managed IT services.
Which cloud should be used?
It depends on the workloads, existing stack, data-residency needs and commercials. Mindrops assesses and recommends AWS, Azure or GCP — including multi-cloud only where it genuinely helps.
