Pipelines that turn invoices, statements and forms into validated data.
Mindrops engineers document-intelligence pipelines that read invoices, statements, receipts, forms, contracts and IDs — classifying each document, extracting its fields with OCR and LLMs, checking them against your rules and sending only the uncertain ones to a person.

Caelum AI — Document Processing
A Mindrops document-intelligence product that extracts transactions, line items, totals and dates to Excel, CSV, JSON or XML through a REST API, with human-in-the-loop review.
Delivers 99% extraction accuracy on supported documents across bank statements, invoices and receipts.
A mobile-first platform with a web admin portal where OCR and AI read six fields from each invoice and a person confirms every record before it is saved.
100% of invoices are confirmed by a person before saving, producing a governed, searchable record from the very first upload.
Intelligent document processing (IDP) turns unstructured documents — invoices, bank statements, receipts, forms, contracts and identity documents — into validated, structured data. Mindrops builds IDP pipelines that combine OCR and large language models to classify, extract and validate each document, route low-confidence fields to human review, and post the result into ERP, accounting or workflow systems.
01
Ingestion & classification
Documents from email, upload, scanner or API are split, de-duplicated and classified by type before any field is extracted.
02
OCR & LLM extraction
Header fields, tables and line items read from scans, photos and PDFs — layout-aware, without a template per supplier or bank.
03
Validation rules
Totals, tax, dates and reference numbers checked against each other and against your master data, purchase orders and policies.
04
Human-in-the-loop review
A review queue that shows each low-confidence field beside the source image, so a person confirms or corrects it before it becomes data.
05
ERP & accounting integration
Approved records posted to your ERP, accounting or workflow system through APIs, or exported as Excel, CSV, JSON or XML.
06
Audit trail & access control
Every extraction, correction and approval logged against the user who made it, with role-based access and tenant isolation.
Who needs document intelligence
Finance teams keying invoices and receipts
Supplier invoices and expense receipts arrive as PDFs, scans and phone photos in every layout. Extraction captures header fields and line items for staff to check.
Bank statements arrive each month from many banks in different formats. A reading layer per format returns transactions ready for reconciliation in the client’s ledger.
Onboarding & KYC teams checking identity documents
Applications come with IDs, proofs of address and signed forms. Classification sorts the bundle, extraction reads the fields, and mismatches between documents are flagged for review.
Legal, procurement & operations teams with contracts
Parties, values, renewal dates and obligations sit inside long agreements. LLM extraction pulls them into a register, each value linked to the clause it came from.
Why Mindrops for document intelligence
We build and run our own IDP product
Caelum AI, our document-intelligence engine, reads receipts, invoices and statements from 25+ UK banks at 99% accuracy and returns them as Excel, CSV, JSON or XML through a REST API.
Messy inputs sorted before extraction
Month-end scans rarely arrive one document per file. In Caelum AI, a single PDF of many receipts is split and grouped per receipt before any field is read.
Nothing posts without a checkpoint
In our invoice-capture builds, LLM extraction proposes the values and a person confirms them before they are stored, behind OTP/JWT sign-in and role-based access.
Accuracy measured on your documents
Before launch we score extraction field by field against a labelled set of your own documents, so you can see where the model is reliable and where review is still needed.

Client reviews
AI invoice extraction
Vendor invoices are read and extracted automatically, stored, and passed to the accounting tools the finance team already uses.
From the client’s review
“The AI extraction they built works reliably with different invoice formats which was the main thing we needed.”
A mobile app, website and admin dashboard connecting patients in rural and semi-urban India with doctors, with video consultations, digital prescriptions and patient registration.
From the client’s review
“The UI/UX design process was collaborative and they kept the end user in mind throughout, which mattered a lot for a platform targeting rural users.”
Intelligent document processing (IDP) uses OCR and AI models to classify documents, extract their data and validate it, turning invoices, statements, forms and contracts into structured records. Mindrops builds IDP pipelines with human review for low-confidence fields and integration into the systems that use the data.
How is document intelligence different from RPA or generative AI?
Document intelligence is the reading step: it turns a document into checked, structured data. Intelligent automation & RPA runs the whole rules-heavy process around it, such as approval and payment, while generative AI covers wider LLM applications such as copilots and RAG search. Many projects start here and extend into automation.
Which documents can you process?
Invoices, receipts, bank statements, purchase orders, application forms, contracts and identity documents, as PDFs, scans or phone photos. Layout-aware extraction means a new supplier or bank does not need a new template, and each new document type is validated on samples before it goes live.
How accurate is it, and what happens when it is unsure?
Accuracy depends on document type and quality, so we measure it on your own samples before go-live. Our Caelum AI product delivers 99% accuracy on supported documents; in every pipeline, fields below a confidence threshold go to a person who confirms or corrects them before anything is posted.
Can it feed our ERP or accounting system?
Yes. Approved data is posted through APIs into ERP, accounting and workflow systems, or exported as Excel, CSV, JSON or XML. See API integration and ERP development.
How is our document data kept secure?
Documents are processed under role-based access control with an audit trail of every correction and approval, and the pipeline can run in your own cloud where data-residency rules require it. Delivery follows our CMMI Level 3, secure-SDLC process.
