Website Designing Company in Janakpuri: What Offices, Clinics and Shops Need

A Janakpuri business website should settle a visitor's decision before they travel. Offices need clear service pages and named people, clinics need doctors, timings and a booking route, and shops need stock and opening days. All three need directions by block and metro station. Mindrops builds these from its Pitampura office.

If you are comparing a website designing company in Janakpuri, start with the people your site has to serve, not the agency's portfolio. A firm with an office in the District Centre, a clinic near the hospitals and a shop that trades on Saturday market days each need a different site, and some of the people looking for them will be travelling in from elsewhere in Delhi.

This guide sets out what Janakpuri's commercial areas are made of, what that means for directions, trust and content, and what to ask an agency before you sign. Mindrops sells this service, so our own offer is confined to one section near the end.

What Janakpuri's business areas look like

As of October 2026, Wikipedia describes Janakpuri as a planned residential colony in South West Delhi, organised into blocks and pockets. Its main commercial centre is the Janakpuri District Centre, which houses regional offices of companies and firms, plus shops selling food, apparel, handicrafts and jewellery, with a crafts bazaar for handicrafts and home décor. A weekly Saturday market runs across the C4 blocks and C3 on Ram Mandir Marg. For health care, the same entry lists the government-run Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital, operating since September 2008, alongside smaller hospitals, medical centres and block dispensaries. Bharti College and Maharaja Surajmal Institute are among the institutions in and around the colony.

Three things follow for a website. They are our reading of that picture, not measured data:

  • Offices and clinics draw people who have a purpose and compare before they travel, so a page that settles a decision beats a page that describes the company.
  • With blocks, pockets and a shared District Centre, a bare street address is hard to use for anyone who does not know the colony.
  • Visitors arrive by metro as well as by road, so the station is part of your address.

Write your directions around the three metro stations

Wikipedia lists three Delhi Metro stations in Janakpuri: Janakpuri East on the Blue Line, Janakpuri West, where the Blue and Magenta lines meet, and Dabri Mor–Janakpuri South on the Magenta Line. The Magenta Line also meets the Yellow Line at Hauz Khas and the Violet Line at Kalkaji Mandir, so someone arriving on either of those lines can change onto it.

A useful "How to find us" block contains:

  • The address as a stranger needs it. Block, pocket, building, floor and shop or office number, plus one landmark.
  • The nearest station and the exit to use. Walk the route yourself and write down what you pass. A copied map pin is not a route.
  • A Get directions button. Google documents a URL format for this, https://www.google.com/maps/dir/?api=1&destination=..., with an optional travelmode such as transit, and says no API key is needed.
  • Buttons large enough to tap. WCAG 2.2 Level AA asks for pointer targets of at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, with a few exceptions, such as when an undersized target has enough space around it.

Regional offices and professional firms

A buyer choosing between firms is looking for reasons to trust one of them. The site should give those reasons plainly:

  • Service pages that say who the service is for, what is included and what you need from the client, in place of a list of adjectives.
  • Named people with their roles. Business buyers check who they would be working with.
  • Proof you can show. Name a client only with permission; otherwise describe the work without the name.
  • A form that asks only what you need to reply, and a reply time you can actually meet.
  • A line on where you work. If you serve clients across Delhi NCR from a Janakpuri office, say so; the address then reads as a base, not a limit.

Clinics and diagnostic centres

With a government super-speciality hospital and a number of smaller hospitals and medical centres in the colony, a private clinic competes on clarity: what it treats, who treats it, when, and how to book. Show each doctor's qualifications and registration details, timings by day, languages spoken, and one booking route, whether a form or a phone number. Say plainly that the site is not for emergencies. A form that collects health details needs a privacy note beside it and secure handling behind it. Our guide to website development for doctors covers the further requirements.

Shops, jewellers and market-day traders

The District Centre's shops and crafts bazaar sell things people want to see before they buy. A trader who works the Saturday market is in front of customers once a week. For both, the site's job is to cover the days between visits: what is new, which days you are open, a price range, and one tap to call or message. Selling online is a separate project that brings stock, delivery and returns with it; see e-commerce development.

If you already have a website

Many Janakpuri businesses already have a site and ask whether to redesign it. If pages are slow on a phone, the contact details are hard to find, or you cannot change a price without calling someone, a redesign is justified. If the site works but looks dated, fixing it is usually cheaper.

Either way, protect what already ranks. Google's guidance for site moves with URL changes recommends permanent server-side redirects (301 or 308) from each old address to its new one, and says to keep them for as long as possible, generally at least one year. Ask the agency for the old-to-new address list before launch.

What decides the cost and the calendar

We give no prices here, because the word "website" covers a five-page office site and a clinic with online booking alike. In projects like these, the quote and the schedule move with:

  • The number of pages that each need their own content, such as services, doctors, products or branches
  • Whether enquiries or bookings must feed a tool you already use, such as appointment software or a CRM
  • The number of people who must sign off the text: partners, doctors, family owners
  • Photography of the premises, the team or the products
  • Migrating a current site, redirects included
  • Support after launch

Questions to ask a website designing company in Janakpuri

  1. Show me the contact and directions block on a live site, on a phone. Check the number is tappable and the map button works.
  2. Who writes the first draft of the service pages, and what do you need from us? Content delay is the usual cause of late launches.
  3. What will be tracked from the first day? Calls, taps on directions and form submissions.
  4. How will old addresses be redirected? Ask to see the mapping.
  5. What is handed over at the end? The domain and hosting logins, the text and images, the design files and the code.

How Mindrops works on this

Our office is at 112, Krishna Apra Business Square, Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura. From Janakpuri East or Janakpuri West, ride the Blue Line to Rajouri Garden, change to the Pink Line towards Majlis Park and get off at Netaji Subhash Place, four stops on; check the Delhi Metro journey planner for timings. The website development service covers brand and corporate sites, CMS builds, online stores and portals, with UI/UX design in the same team. Speed, structured data and accessibility work are built in rather than added later, and the code and its documentation are yours at the end. Being found is separate work: see SEO and AI search visibility, and our note on a digital marketing agency in Janakpuri. Send your brief through get a quote, saying whether you are an office, a clinic or a shop, and expect a quick reply.

Conclusion

A Janakpuri website works when it answers the visitor's first question quickly and makes the trip easy: which service, which doctor or which product, then which block and which station. Decide which of those jobs your site has, build the directions around the metro, and open the draft on your own phone before you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

Can one website cover branches in two different blocks?
Yes. Give each branch its own page with its own address, phone number, opening hours and map button, and keep the shared content, such as services and team, on common pages. That way a visitor in one block is not sent to the wrong door.
How long will a website take to build?
It depends on scope and, above all, on how quickly text, photographs and approvals reach the agency. Ask for a dated plan that names your approval points, and treat any fixed number of weeks quoted before the scope is known with caution.
Can my staff edit the site after launch?
They should be able to change text, timings, prices and photographs without a developer. Ask to see the editing screen during the demo, and check who is allowed to publish, so that a draft cannot go live by accident.
Should a clinic or firm publish its fees on the website?
Publish what you can keep current: a consultation fee or a starting price, or for a firm, how fees are set, such as fixed, hourly or per project. A stale figure damages trust. Check any conduct rules for your profession on advertising fees before you publish.
